I started attending births after becoming a doula in 2021. 

I was privledged enough to sit at the feet of elder midwife, Whapio, and learn from her doula and midwifery education.  

She instilled in me a deep reverence for and trust in my body. In all bodies. 

I've since been honored to sit at the feet of women during their pregnancy, birth and postpartum seasons. 

It is my prayer that every woman can experience birth without interference.

You will enter this journey as one woman and emerge completely changed forever.

Through conscious conception, ceremonial care during pregnancy, and postpartum ritual, we mark this rite. 

 This can leave you feeling more grounded, more seen and ready to play your new role and identity.

The core of my work is not being in the room while you give birth, although that is sometimes part of it. 

The core of my work is preparation and postpartum nurturing and witnessing, so you can then nourish your baby.

If you feel called to invite me into your birth space, I would be happy to discuss attending your birth. 

I serve women who don't want to outsource their power to anyone simply because of a degree, license or certificate. 

I serve women who are not idealistic and who know, that every birth is co-created between mama, baby, and the unseen and that is truly is something we surrender to.

I serve women who take respoinsibility for their own health choices and are reluctanct to having  any 'authority' in their birth space.

There is no wrong way to birth but a mother should never feel forced into any of her choices and unfortunately that is extremely common in our culture today.
